Active Homework
All children receive active homework each week with in the form of a monthly grid that they tick off when completed.
European School Sports Day 2023
European School Sports Day #essd2023 took place on Friday 29th of September. The initiative aims to promote physical activity on an international level and involve as many children and young people, schools and organisations as possible. Our older classes organised lots of fun activities for our youngers classes to take part in to mark this fun day!
Active Flag Poster and Slogan
We held a competition for the children to design an active flag poster and slogan for our school. Our winner was Ellen Wilson! We loved how she included lots of different types of sport in her poster designed and we loved her slogan 'Put down your switch and get on the pitch!'.
Halloween Active Walkway
This year we turned our active walkway into a Spooky Halloween Active Walkway! We had everything from spooky sprints, to haunted high knees and horrifying hops!
