The Patron’s Programme is developed by a school’s patron with the aim of contributing to children’s holistic development, particularly from the religious and/or ethical perspective, and underpins and supports the characteristic spirit of the school.

As a Catholic primary school under the caring patronage of the Bishop of the Archdiocese of Dublin, in SNP we embrace a spirit that reflects the love and teachings of the Catholic Church.

We take pride in welcoming children from all religious backgrounds, creating an environment filled with warmth, care, and respect for everyone. Inclusivity is at the heart of our school, where each child is valued and encouraged to thrive.

As a Catholic primary school we engage in preparation for, and the celebration of, the Sacraments of First Penance and First Holy Communion (in 2nd Class) and the Sacrament of Confirmation (in 6th Class). We work very closely with Ballyroan Parish to ensure that these are always very special occasions for our pupils and their families.

We come together as a school community for a New School Year mass every September in our local church, and we also celebrate a joint Graduation Mass with Ballyroan Boys’ National School every June in honour of our graduating Sixth Class Pupils.
